theyre all recycled and have no originality

I see

I guess that applies to a lot of stuff tho especially in pop culture nowadays lmao I agree there’s nothing about SM groups you can’t find somewhere else essentially but they do it well, imo. They have great importance as they basically molded kpop to be as we know it today, it’s bad in some ways and good in others.

I understand where you’re coming from and I’m sure a lot other kpop fans think like you. I do enjoy a lot of what comes from SM though, but I admit that’s mostly due to the fact that they can afford quality and flashy stuff unlike some less known companies. The buying songs everytime thing is getting a little old by now tho…

Right now I genuinely enjoy f(x) and SHINee songs, I think they’re the best SM groups in term of concepts and music, I think f(x) is really innovative it’s a shame they don’t get the same treatment as SNSD. Red Light in my opinion was very original at least within the kpop world, and Pink Tape was just very solid. The Misconceptions Series from SHINee were all really great too. SNSD goodness is all in their japanese discography, Suju and EXO are kinda stuck with unoriginal concepts, even though I’m an ELF and I enjoy some EXO songs. I guess it comes to personal preference in the end of the day
